Match Five -DBS 2 - 3 Choeifat
The game kicked with both teams starting strong, with battles all across the pitch. This first twenty minutes were highly contested with now clear cut chances being created by either team. The next twenty minutes Choueifat started to push on more and pile on the pressure. After the initial shot was saved by Harry Wilkins the rebound was tapped in by their forward. The first half finished one nil to Choueifat, the close score line reflected the first half as the game was very tight.
The second half kicked off and started like the first half finished, Tamer Hijaz had managed to turn the defence a couple of times to come close with chances however DBS were still one down. DBS won a corner that was taken by Jake Bowry and converted by Harry Mortimer at the back post. This then put the score at one – one. DBS continued to push forward after this, and Danny Mackie made a run along with some good link up play with Tamer to convert DBS second goal. Choueifat pushed forward after this and equalised within ten minutes a lucky goal that bobbled in.
Choueifat then scored the winner in the last kick of the game after a good individual run from their centre forward. This was a good game and DBS were very unlucky not to come away from this game with at least point.

Match One - DBS 3 - 1 JESS Ranches
This was the first game of the season for the DBS senior football team as they faced JESS Ranches after retaining their place within division one. This was a tough fixture to start with for DBS as last year they suffered a 2-1 defeat to JESS last year. DBS opted for a 4-5-1 formation whereas JESS lined up with a 4-4-2 formation. The first half was a tight battle between both teams, where both DBS and JESS came close in a number of occasions. JESS made the break through after about thirty minutes of play with a good individual run and finish from their full-back. DBS managed to hold the game out to half-time after a good effort from the whole team.
The second half kicked off and DBS started this half like they finished the first with a fast tempo and moving the ball quickly and effectively. The first twenty minutes of the first half was a physical battle where both teams were evenly matched in all areas. DBS’s keeper Harry Wilkins suffered a groin strain with about twenty five minutes left of the game. He was replaced by stand in keeper Scott Carson. This was the turning point in the game, as within five minutes DBS equalised through Tamer Hijaz who got on the end of Jake Bowery's through ball and with a great show of pace to bet the defender and slot it past the keeper. DBS kept pushing and the second goal came from Sam Wipp after a great run to split the defence and make it 2-1.
DBS looked comfortable after going 2-1 up and Tamer Hijaz sealed the win, with another great run to split the defence and head the ball in for DBS’S third. The game finished 3-1 with a great all round performance from the whole team.
