U14 Rounders
Match Report
EIS J – Sun 21st April - Win 15.5-6.5
Team: DBS U14
Courtney, Rebecca, Ali, Blanca, Janina, Shauna, Freya, Yasmin (captain), Lizzie,
POM: Blanca Pamias
This was a fun game, it was our first game of the season, It was an enjoyable game because it was easy as we were better fielders and batters. EIS started off bad but then they improved their performance. Although it was our first match we had a lot of practice at the latifa tournament. We could have communicated better and we should have stayed focus. The other team was not very good at fielding but they gradually got better.
EC – Tues 30th April – Win 9-6.5
Team: DBS U14
POM: Courtney Murphy
REPTON – Sun 5th May – Win 11-4.5
Team: DBS U14:
Yasmin (captain), Blanca, Courtney, Rebbeca, Lizzie, Janina, Maryam, Freya, Shauna, Ali,
POM: Blanca Pamias
We had a good game, well we won. We were fist to field giving us the advantage as we knew what our player’s score was, so that we can push ourselves to beat them. We were good at fielding but we should have communicated to each other better. When we were up to bat we didn’t expect repton’s bowler to be so good, she had a quick and curved ball, which made it difficult to hit the ball in the direction we wanted to. Overall it was a good match, battled well, well done girls, through to the semis J
